	I bought the Muck Hiker for my mother & she loves them. She has bad legs & feet & they make a world of difference!!! Great in the snow & wet conditions & she feels more comfortable in them than any other shoe or boot! Fast shipping & the people at Hanks are always helpful & great! I will always shop at Hanks! 	I've been searching and searching and now I've found them. The best friend for my feet through thick and thin. I stomp a lot through mush and sog. Either at the dog park, on short hikes or on construction sites I am set. I've also found that the grippy slightly stiff sole locks into my bike pedals. Great for quick jaunts to the coffee shop.

	I have a pair of regular muck shoes that are similar to these and adore them. Ordered these for my husband, as the aggressive sole would be wonderful for his uses. He felt they came up too high at the back upper heel, and perhaps elevated his feet a bit much at the back. They are built differently than the muck shoes. Also they seemed small for size. Needless to say we returned them.

	I really like this shoe! I like the fact that it is a waterproof shoe that can be slipped on to take the dog out on a rainy morning but can also be worn for a walk in the woods. The reason I rated it a 3 out of the 5 is that I don't believe anything is perfect so I would have started at a 4, but also, the other drawback is that this shoe only comes in whole sizes. All of my other hunting type, whole sized boots have all been a size 11. Yet this shoe fits well through the width but slips off of the heel and I do not think a 10 would have worked for me in the width; it would have been too snug. All in all, I would recommend this shoe, but be aware that the whole sizing could be an issue.

	Bought them as camp shoes in addition to canoe boots for their being light to pack and easy to kick off and put on. As advertised, reliable, waterproof, comfortable, handsome hiking shoes with good traction. Sizing was consistent. As with any other shoes, give them some time to adjust before taking them for a real ride. The back of the heel is high and was initially causing some discomfort. Wore them with denser socks the first several days until the discomfort was gone. Would recommend them (despite the wacky name).
