I love all their stuff. The thermal underwear can be worn as a light sweater or long sleeve shirt if you get once size bigger. Super light and warm. Well worth the price.

i am a letter carrier in northern nj and when it is really cold i throw these on (tops and bottoms) and provide a cozy warm layer under the uniform. almost makes it fun to be outside! They launder really well too.

I am a hunter and ice fisherman in Wisconsin we are known for our extreme weather. I do them both with temps in the minus digits. I have been for the greater part of 10 years wearing nylon as a base layer. I have tried many different brands and it didn't matter who's or what I did or didn't do it smelled of BO. Someone suggested I try minus 33 wool, so I did, man does this stuff ROCK not only does it smell good, it's warm, soft, comfortable and well fitting. I gave 4 stars because I'm not sure about durability due to being a new product for me. It is also less expensive than I thought wool would be. As for Hanks I couldn't say enough I ordered 2 shirts at different times and received them both with three days. Excellent company. Fair price, good product and FAST shipping what more could you ask for!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchused the pants first then the shirt. Very pleased with the quality and very excited to try them out but unfortunately it has warmed up here so waiting on cold weather again. This item came highly recommended.

The medium top was way too big compared to other medium size clothing I wear and not long enough in the back!

This is the second thermal top I've ordered from Minus 33 and it's just as good as the first one. These are wonderfully soft, not itchy in the least, warm, and non-binding under clothes. I've worn it alone as a sweater and also as an under layer in cold weather. It's so comfortable that you will hate to take it off. The wool wicks moisture away from the body and doesn't accumulate odors, which is nice on an extended outing.

This is a medium-weight layer/sweater (if it was a tent, it would be a 3-season model that could be stretched to 4 if the winter wasn't too severe). If you are a serious expedition type, you might want to consider a more heavyweight thermal top for layering, but for most conditions, this will keep you toasty and comfortable, especially if layered under wool. Some people have complained that the neck opening is a bit oversized, and it is larger than most crew necks, but it works for me. I have no complaints. So far have had no problems with shrinking, and I throw it in the wash with other items, and it's long enough to keep the waist covered and protected from cold.

I highly recommend it.

The Merino Wool is soft, thick enough to keep you toasty/yet thin enough to wear under any shirt. I will definitely be buying more Minus 33 products.

I own several merino products from SmartWool, Ice Breaker and Ibex. The Minus 33 crew neck top is nice and soft. No itch. It's warm and adequate overall. Functions well for skiing.

There are a couple of things that make it inferior to the top brands. The opening for the crew collar is far too big--giant. I can see it in the photo now, but it's not obvious until you have it in your hands. I don't know what they were thinking. It's made for a pumpkin-head or something. The sleeves are also a bit baggy.

The price kind of makes up for the design flaws, but keeps it from being an all-around great top. I will always wear it underneath something else.

Feels great against the skin. Can't even tell it's wool. Like my favorite T-shirt.
