| I bought these for boots I use for welding and to meet interagency wildland fire requirements. I haven't put the laces through any situations that would really challenge them, but I am satisfied so far. The one caveat I would add is that the pair I received did not have metal tips. The tips are made from some form of heat-shrunk plastic. They seem fairly strong and durable, so I doubt it will be a problem, but if you were expecting metal tips, you may be disappointed. | ||||

| Bull Dog Kevlar Fire Resistant Lace Black72 Inch - 3505 (72 Inch) I didn't buy these for the fire resistance so much as I was hoping they would be abrasion resistant as well . So far they are holding up better than any other laces I have tried, showing only slight fraying at the eyelets. overall they seem to work just short of excellent. | ||||

| Seems like a really great product. I bought them as replacement laces for my speed-laced motorcycle shoes because Kevlar is a really strong material and doesn't stretch, not for the fire resistant property. So, far they are holding up very nicely. Only time will tell how durable they prove to be. | ||||
