The first single-digit temperatures were experienced in the days following my boots being delivered from "Hanks". These Muck Britt Middie boots are the low-top design that I sought for use during stable chores and riding horses in the cold of central IL. The first truly cold evening provided a great challenge for the boots to deliver on my expectations. I couldn't be happier with the outcome while cleaning stalls. Warm feet are the key to tolerating time in the cold weather. I have previously used the calf-length Muck boots and will always be happy with them, but the Britt Middie boots give a better feel when riding thanks to not only the warmth, but the traditional heel-cut design of western riding boots for the feel in the stirrup. Now I don't have to tuck in the jeans when donning the lower profile Britt Middie boots. Thanks to Hanks for the deal and Muck Boots for the great product.

I like how these boots start out... they feel great, keep my feet warm and do what they are designed to do. I have bought a new pair every time my old one wore out, HOWEVER I think this will be the last year that I buy them because I notice they are just not lasting as long as they used to. I dont' know if the Muck Boot Company has started using cheaper materials from China or what the deal is, but the uppers have been cracking open and coming apart much quicker than they used to. I'm going to search for another brand next time.
