This boot has potential but until the Muck Boot company
improves upon the means to prevent heel slippage/lift, this
offering can not seriously be considered a viable hiker. The
little draw chord system is comprised of quite stretchy-
expandable shock chord which is worthless in the way of
snugging up the foam shaft. Almost at the point of breaking
the chord can you then draw about 3/4 inch of material.
Not enough in my case and my heel was not even close to
being stabilized. Its too bad because both the length and width of the boot were perfect. And the offering wasn't
heavy either. Even if you were to switch out the shock chord with say parachute chord you would find that the design doesn't draw enough slack up.
