A lot of customers have told us they wanted to have the same boot that would keep them warm down to -40°F but in a shorter height, well this is it, our Arctic Sport Mid.

Lightweight and comfortable, this boot will keep you warm and toasty all day. Great for people with bigger calves and for anyone that just doesn't want a boot that goes all the way up to their knees.

I ordered a pair of arctic snow boots in the middle of continuous winter snowstorms that battered the east for 74 days in my area of Virginia. I live and work on a horse and cattle farm and needless to say good boots are a staple item for every day wear. I thought at best the boots I ordered would arrive within a week to 10 days time due to the weather contitions, but to my surprise I ordered them online on a Tuesday night and they arrived on Thursday--they were shipped out of New York to Virginia! My boots that I was replacing had torn and were leaking wet snow, mud, etc. My feet were frozen! Thanks to Hanks I am high and dry and very happy. Thanks for the speedy service and having such good inventory! P.S. the shipping was free! |

I fretted over the size because every site said to order up. I wear a 7-7 1/2 and have an average width foot. I ordered the 7's and they are perfect. My husband wears a 9 1/2 and has a very wide foot. Again, we ordered down to a 9 and they are perfect. |

I noticed the quality of this boot the first time I tried them on. They felt broke-in. Like your favorite pair of shoes. The traction is far superior to the off the shelf brands I used to get. They are much warmer, without making my feet sweat.

The warmest boots I've ever owned, but the size of the boots run bigger then normel shoes at least for me. I wear size 13 and I ordered size 13 boots and there so big I can wear 3 pars of sock in them and still move around but having room is not all that bad. But all in all very good boots. |

Overall comfortable boots. Took a little while to get used to the mid-calf because I found that if I didn't stuff my jeans into the boot, the boot would slip a bit, and made my calves sore. But with thicker socks and tucking my jeans into them helped a lot, and now they feel and work great! I have used them in 50 degree weather so far, and they are breathable and comfortable. I look forward to wearing them this winter, as I bought them upon recommendation from 2 friends who both said it was a great boot for the winter cold. Last winter was in the negative degrees for almost 2 months here in Minnesota, so looking forward to having a warm boot this winter! |
