This stuff is simply amazing !! If you wear
thru the toes of your boots or any other areas just apply this with the enclosed
applicator, let it dry a few hours, apply another coat and let it sit overnight
and you're ready to go.
The dairy farmers like to run a bead around the
welt to keep the manure from rotting through the leather. I`ll tell you
this stuff is tough!
Once it's on the boot, it isn't coming off. You need a grinder to remove
it!
You can also use this on Cordura nylon, vinyl,
and exposed steel.

I've used this product several times and it has always held up longer than my boots. I recommend this product for anyone in construction especially when you do alot of framing layout and have to crawl around. Awesome product and a great supplier, thanks

I found out about KG Boot Guard by accident. While searching for something else I happened to see an ad for KG Boot Guard and how it can be used to repair worn boot toes, etc., especially boots with steel toes. While the leather on the toes of my boots was wearing off the boots themselves were in great condition. I can't afford to get rid of the boots so I thought I'd give the KG a try. Since it seemed a bit expensive I did some more searching and found it here at Hanks - the saving grace being the shipping. I order it and found it to be as advertised. It was simple to put on, just swab it on with the included daubber. It tried overnight and it setup like iron. So far it has stood the test. However, I only give it a four since I haven't had it on my boots long enough yet to really see it will hold up to my continued work routine here at the ranch. My gut feeling is that the boot guard will get that last star. I really wish I had known about this product before as I'm sure...

This product worked very well to fix my worn out old work boots. The leather was dried and cracking in several spots and had cracked through a large hole on one boot. I patched up the biggest parts of the holes with Shoe Goo and then covered the entire toe with the boot guard. It worked like a charm! My work boots are solid and waterproof again and ready to go for another season.
I wish they had a not gritty version too so I could have a smooth surface but this version gets the job done. I highly recommend it!
