	This is my second purchase of a candy stripe blanket. We had at least one of them when I was growing up but I do not know what happened to it. They are very attractive on the bed and warm on a cold night. I would highly recommend these blankets to anyone. (They would also make wonderful gifts, expecially as wedding presents!)

	I love the wool blanket. But compared to my friends Hudson Bay 4 point that is 30 years or so old, this one is not as dense a wool. Hudson Bay, like most companies has cut back on the blanket weight. But it still keeps me warm and I am enjoying it. Note From Hanks: Thank you for the review. One thing to keep in mind is that many things appear to make older wool items appear denser. If it was ever washed, if it was stored in heat, etc...this can all cause the wool to shrink and bulk up and appear heavier than a new product.

	While visiting friends in the high desert of New Mexico over the holidays, I used their Hudson's Bay point blanket. It kept me comfortable at night and enabled me to sleep in their cold house. I fell in love with this cozy blanket and used my Christmas gift-money to order one for myself. Yes, it's an outrageous amount to spend on a blanket. I rarely splurge but this item seemed worth it. 	I love this blanket. I have always wanted one and after my husband's surgery, my once overly heated hubby became cold all of the time. 	I bought this blanket for my son who is an over the road truck driver, traveling in the Northeast and Canada. He has a sleeper cab and needed a warm blanket to avoid running the truck during the night to keep the heater on, thus spoiling his gas mileage. The first night he used the Hudson Bay Blanket, he didn't turn the truck heater on once, keeping nice and warm. He was surprised in the morning how warm he was under the blanket and how COLD it was in his truck. The only thing I am concerned about is having to dry clean this blanket, as it is being used in a truck that is hard to keep in order. Could this blanket be washed on delicate, cold water?
