While visiting friends in the high desert of New Mexico over the holidays, I used their Hudson's Bay point blanket. It kept me comfortable at night and enabled me to sleep in their cold house. I love this blanket. I have always wanted one and after my husband's surgery, my once overly heated hubby became cold all of the time. He started to use my wool throw we bought in Vermont on vacation so I had no choice but to buy something to keep me warm and for that I thank him! I plan to order the throw next and maybe my biggest wish, the 8 point for our bed.

I bought this blanket for my son who is an over the road truck driver, traveling in the Northeast and Canada. He has a sleeper cab and needed a warm blanket to avoid running the truck during the night to keep the heater on, thus spoiling his gas mileage. The first night he used the Hudson Bay Blanket, he didn't turn the truck heater on once, keeping nice and warm. He was surprised in the morning how warm he was under the blanket and how COLD it was in his truck. The only thing I am concerned about is having to dry clean this blanket, as it is being used in a truck that is hard to keep in order. Could this blanket be washed on delicate, cold water?
