FAQ Why are your Charcoal and Brown colors offered in 24 oz. Mackinaw wool, instead of 26 oz. Mackinaw wool, like your other colors?
As we have introduced new colors to our Mackinaw wool fabrics, such as Charcoal and Brown, we chose to stock only 24 oz. Mackinaw wool, not 26 oz., because we can offer a wider variety of styles in the 24 oz. Since the Style 20 Mackinaw Wool Vest is our best-selling wool garment, we felt that it would be wise to offer it in our popular Charcoal and Brown, even though the fabric is 24 oz. and not 26 oz.
