I can remember my grandmother shaving this on a cheese grater to add to the wash water...in the old ringer washing machine! We hunted and found this item and when I opened a pack up that smell brought back the memories of a childhood helping grandma hang clothes out on the line.
It`s great for pre-treating oil or grease stains on clothes, ring around the collar, removes oil and grease from the hands like a charm, and even has been used to lessen the effects of poison ivy.

I have a small yorkie who developed allergies at 6 months old. She would break out in little pimple type bumps on her belly and they would eventually spread over her entire body scab over and cause her to scratch like crazy, even loosing hair because of it. She is now 3 and we have spent over $1000 on medications and special shampoos to treat her. I began washing her in Fels Naptha Soap about a month ago and her scratching is much less. She still has the break outs but I am able to manage them and keep them under control by using this. At the sign of the first pimple I give her a bath and the next day it is gone. This is the longest she has been antibiotic free in the past 2.5 years. LOVE LOVE LOVE this soap.
