I can remember my grandmother shaving this on a cheese grater to add to the wash water...in the old ringer washing machine! We hunted and found this item and when I opened a pack up that smell brought back the memories of a childhood helping grandma hang clothes out on the line.

Fels Naptha soap was the only stain remover/pre-treater my mom would buy. I was very disappointed when I ran out recently and our local grocery store had discontinued carrying it. I spent a few days hunting in cupboards and around my laundry area, trying to find any bits to use. Thank goodness I found your website - great price, great product and very fast service!! I've been using scraps of old Fels Naptha soap for years to get rid of any kind of food stain on clothing. When I was close to running out of these scraps, I was thrilled to find out that Hanks could replenish my supply. My friend had been trying to buy the soap for a long time without success, and she asked me to include her in my order.
