Aqua Precision Lens technology was originally
developed for NASA. This coating was first used on astronaut helmet visors and
windows in the portholes of satellites. Edge eyewear was the first company ever
to offer safety glasses with this feature. The unique properties of this lens
effectively block the transmission of infrared light, as well as greatly reduce
excess blue and red light on opposite ends of the spectrum resulting in greater
contrast and clarity in the brightest of conditions.
