	It's nice to find shoes -or anything- that are still made in America. Even the well-known English work shoe brand is now made in China. I'm hard to fit, I wear a 4E width. Many of the imports I've tried on are marked 4E but they're really not. The Carolina 1309's are quite comfortable, especially considering the fact that they are steel toe boots. Sure, they needed to be broken in a bit like any shoe. The steel caps are wide like the rest of the shoe, unlike the imports.
