Keep that head covered! It was -5 degrees below zero last night when I walked into the local sub shop. Right behind me 2 young girls walked in. One had no socks on and neither one of them had a hat on. I heard them tell the clerk they just walked from the bowling alley which was a half mile away! Oh to be young again…and have hair. I was numb just walking from the car inside. Young or not and hair or not when it’s that cold out it’s just wise to wear a hat. Up to 30% of your body heat can escape right through the top of your head. Keeping your head covered is one of the most important things you can do to maintain body heat in sub zero weather. A simple, inexpensive item, but a warm hat can keep your whole body warm.
