	I'm glad my dad never had one of these to use on me when I was bad..lol ..very heavy duty...got a 48" but its a bit snug..should have went with 50" but that just gives me a reason to go on a diet and lose a few pounds..overall I'm happy with the product..plan on using this with my CCW. I own a full size 1911 .45 and this belt and a good holster should keep me comfortable...

	This belt works GREAT with my Glock 26 carried IWB. Doesn't move or sag, even when I'm going down stairs. I was gonna finally crack and spend almost $100 on a legit gun belt and I'm glad I didn't. On top of the fact that it's strong enough for CC it looks like a regular belt which is awesome. I got the black but will be ordering the brown as well. No point to wear a regular belt anymore.

	This belt is great for everyday use, but it is even better for concealed carry! I use it for IWB carry and my previous NRA belt was too flexible and woefully inadequate to keep its form with the added weight of a firearm. This belt fills the bill and it does so at a much lower cost that most "holster" belts on the market. If you want a great belt, buy this one. If you carry CCW you will love this belt! 	The belt I received was a very nice looking plain black belt. The belt measured exactly 1/8 inch thick and not the just under 1/4 thick advertised. Possibly I received the wrong belt? the belt was very limber as well and IMHO would not make a good gun belt for CCW. The return process was very user friendly and greatly appreciated.

	I received the belt in a timely manor however I returned it right away as it was not at all what I expected or was advertised as. Very nice looking belt but it measured exactly an eighth of an inch thick not just under a quarter inch thick and it was very limber also. The particular belt I received would not have been an improvement over my everyday belt for CCW. Also kudos's to Hanks for making the return process so user friendly and easy.

	Amish black belt is one tough belt. I abuse belts by hanging all manner of tools on it. Usually I wear them out in less than 1 month. I finally found a belt that can take the abuse and keep on holding my pants up.

	Bought a black and a brown belt based on reviews on some gun forums and reviews here. The sizing information was right on! I where 36 pants so I normally wear a 38 belt. Since I am using this belt to carry a Glock 30 or M&P9c with an IWB holster, I ordered a 40 inch belt. The belts look great, don't roll and hold the gun close to my body - the gun does not flop around at all. The hold is solid! Great buy i recommend this belt highly.

	Good Study Belt, I wear a size 34 waist pant, I ordered a 40 sized belt, but a 38 would have been better. My next order will be for a 38 in brown. The belt is great the buckle could be better but you can change it, if you like. The price is fantastic plus free shipping. Hanks Clothing is the best with quick shipping.

	I love this belt. Nice, sturdy thick leather. The buckle is lousy though. It causes the belt to stick out in front too much. The buckle on my Beltman belt is much nicer and allows the belt to sit flatter in front without bowing out. This is a simple problem that could be fixed by the manufacturers, rather than leaving it to us. For the money, it's still an incredible value!

	I purchased this belt to use for concealed carry. I looked at all the belts being sold as "Gun Belts" and the majority of them were $100.00 and someone on one of my forums suggested I try this belt. 	I bought the belt for my CCW and works great. I wear a size 33 size jean and it fits slightly loose on the waist, and was lucky enough that my crossbreed holster for a 3" XD, and didn't require me to have to start buying bigger pants. I ordered a size 38 due to hearing that the belts run small. Without holster, I can wear the belt on the 4th hole, with holster 3rd hole. I hope this helps with figuring out what size to buy.

	First off, this is a great belt. All the reviews are correct. Thick, durable, well made. As for the sizing. I found it to be accurate to waist size. Most people are going by their pants size, which is notoriously inaccurate. Instead of going by pants size, take a tape measure and measure your waist. If it is 41, order a 42. If your waist is 42, order a 42. Obviously, if you are using it with a holster order a size up. My waist is about 41 inches, but I wear a 38 pants. I ordered a 42" belt and I am on the 4th hole of 8 (from loosest). The actual measurements of the belt (size 42") are: Total Length of leather section (not including buckle) 47.5", length to the smallest hole is about 37". There is about 1.125 inches between each hole (there are 8 holes). The biggest hole is just over 44".

	Overall a nice belt. Built from 1 thick piece of leather instead of 2 thinner pieces stitched together. Buckle is nice and seems built well. A very stiff belt. Note on sizing: I wear a 34" Levis jean and ordered a 38" belt, but I was still on the 2nd to last hole of the belt. I should have gone with a 40" maybe even a 42".

	I have been wearing the Amish Belt for about 2 weeks as a pistol belt for CCW. This big chunk of leather does a wonderful job of holding my pistol, as well as my britches up. I wear it with polymer, alloy and even steel framed pistols and it is holding up well. Remember guys, a holster is only as good as the belt that holds it up and this one does the job well. Just make sure you purchase LARGER than your waist size. I plan on buying another in brown.

	I bought this as a dual purpose carry belt/work belt. It's easily twice as thick as my last name brand work belt and cost me half the amount. The belt is made of quality materials. The leather seems very durable. The roller buckle is one of the toughest I've seen. When ordering, choose a size 2 inches larger than what you normally would order. They seem to run a bit on the short side. These are definitely the best belts I have ever owned and the price is tough to beat. I have recommended it at work and at the gun range.

	good heavy belt, I went up 3 sizes 1 for Iwb carry and 2 because they tend to run small, It's a little too big might have to punch a hole if I don't carry. anyways a size 44 has 8 holes, measures about 39.25" hooked on the close hole and 47.25" on the far hole .my carry pants are a size 38 and when carrying iwb I have 2 holes left, next time I will order a 42. (in brown) Hanks gave me real fast service ,rated it 4 star because I've only worn it a week

	The belt runs very small and would suggest ordering 2 sizes larger than you normally take. Example, I wear a 33in pants and normally purchase 34in belt, I ordered a 36in Amish belt and it's on the second to last hole. Seems like a somewhat documented issue and an easy fix for them, just stamp the correct size on the leather!

	Excellent quality; I expect this to last me 20 years or more. I bought this as I recently got my CCW permit, and needed a strong belt for an in-waistband-holster. This fits the bill perfectly, and at an excellent price point. I wear 36" waist for jeans, and ordered the 42" belt, as some have said they are a bit "small" relative to pants size, and I needed to accommodate for the holster. It's perfect. When not wearing the holster I'm on the second smallest hole; with the holster I'm one belt-notch larger.

	My order arrived very promptly, and I'm very pleased with the quality of this belt. It's a nice heavy piece of leather, and all the hardware is first rate. I particularly like the chicago screws for the buckle attachment - they're more secure and lay flatter than snaps. My belts always seem to wear out right at the buckle. The leather gets stressed from repeated bending back and forth, and the buckle prong always seems to stretch and elongate the holes. With this belt I removed the 'factory' buckle, and replaced it with a small western style buckle. This eliminates the sharp bends in the leather and the elongation of the holes. Should make this belt last a loooooong time. Heck, as thick as the leather is, they'll probably bury me in it :-). I use it for CCW, and it makes an excellent gun belt. It doesn't twist or droop and it keeps my .45 pushed nicely against my side. Considering it costs about half what you would normally expect to pay for a gun belt, I don't see how...

	I grew up on a ranch outside of a small Northwest town and I've always appreciated a good heavy leather belt. I need a belt to do more than simply hold up my pants. It has to be able to carry whatever I want to hang from it and look good doing it. This belt could hold my knife, pistol, and anything else I want to put on it, and still be comfortable all day. In fact, it could probably be used to help winch my truck out of the mud in an emergency. LOVE THIS BELT!!!

	This is an extremely well made, 1.5 inch heavy duty work belt made in America by American craftsmen. The buckle is secured by two nickle-plated Chicago screws in case you ever decide to change the buckle for whatever reason. The belt leather is 0.25 inches thick and is hefty enough to support all the tools you can hang on it; it also makes a great sidearm holster belt during hunting season. Superior product, you can't go wrong with this one.
