	So glad you found a way to keep making these Acorn slippers for women. Nice fuzzy, warm tops, not too high, and slip-resistant suede bottoms. Don't understand why Acorn stopped making these, but glad you do! My last pair are about 6 years old, and still usable, but ready for some new ones this coming winter, especially since found out may not be able to get another pair in future.

	I am comparing the new polarpairs with the old ones I had. Your material is still very good and so is the workmanship. What I don't like as well in the new ones is the length of the cuff and the foot itself. I wear a woman's 8.5, the new ones are like a 9.5.

	These are THE best, warmest, slippers especially for people with low arches and narrow ankles; as the knitted tops are nicely tight, but still expandable. 	Warm, cozy, soft & bouncy. I had a pair in purple and they lasted for over 15 years. Needless to say, it was time to replace them and I couldn't find any better. They keep your ankles warm and with the suede sole they can be worn outside for short errands.

	These are very comfortable and good looking but I wish they were a little more snug around the foot. They fit a bit loose around the top of the foot, and because of that aren't as warm and secure feeling as I'd like. However, they are enjoyable to wear and I'd recommend them. Sizing is true.

	Having had a pair of Acorn Polar Pair slippers for years, I finally wore out my old pair. They are comfortable, warm, and durable. With my narrow heels and high arches, they stay on my feet; whereas, I easily walk out of most slippers. Moreover, the knit cuff adds to the stability. I was disappointed in the new pair because the knit cuff is 2.25 inches shorter than in the old pair; thus, it barely covers my ankle bone and leads to chilly ankles.

	I have used many winter slippers and this is the best I found. I bought them again this year. They snug tightly around the leg, leaving no room for cold air to get in. They are also ideal to have on if you want to nap, or just put your legs on the couch (if you keep them for indoor use only). I am giving them 4 only because men do not get much choice in term of colors.

	Nice feel to the material. They are a bit too warm for the summer. The memory foam is totally unsatisfactory. It feels like you are walking on soft lumps. Instead of comfortably walking, you are constantly drawn to the odd sensation you get from this foam.

	The acorn polar pairs have been my main squeeze household slippers for a good many years now. After a year or two, when the cushion underneath loses its bounce, I order a new pair from Hanks. They are warm, soft, and very cozy --and nicely priced. It's like having a wood stove for a pair of slippers. Not really, because I use them year round and they aren't too hot in the summer. From the first thing in the morning until I fall asleep at night, Polar pairs are on my feet when I am at home.

	Here in the Pacific North West, it's mostly cool, but rarely below freezing. Down or holofil slippers are overkill and make your too hot. I am a big fan of Acorn fleece slippers; this is my 6th pair. The have just the right amount of warmth and breath ability. The smooth leather bottoms don't track dirt yet aren't slippery. Hanks filled my order right away and the showed up on time. I will buy another pair when these wear out...

	I purchased a Small size of these from Cabbella's Outdoor Outfitters and just loved them. Thinking my wife would like them too, I drove the 50 miles back to the store the next night and found to my dismay that not only did they not sell the XXS size in the store (the closest size to my wife's very small foot) that size was not in their computer system to special order. It was suggested I order direct from the manufacturer's web site. This I thought I did until I started receiving e-mails from Hanks Clothing. I paid for 2-day shipping having believed the comments of a couple of hours processing time; I received my order 5 days later on 12/24/07; aside from this minor wrinkle, I gave them to my wife and told her the long story, she thinks these slippers (though a little large) are the best thing since sliced bread!!! She tells all her friends and relatives that even though these were not a Xmas gift - they were the best things she got at Xmas time. For that THANK YOU, VERY MUCH.
